It’s a fresh slate this weekend guys! Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, in UCB East Indie Cage Match’s spine-tingling eleventh show, a brand new crop of teams comes out to compete for Indie Cage Match glory. Three will enter, one will leave victorious - Sunday, January 29th, 7:30 PM at UCB East, the Beast.
Our Distinguished Weekly Panel (and some fun facts about them)
This week our distinguished comedy vet is Molly Lloyd

Molly is a performer with the UCB Weekend Team, Airwolf. She can also be seen on the UCB stage performing with the group Hot Lather in the improvised soap opera “As the Diamond Burns,” as well as with sketch team, Blitzkrieg!. In addition, she co-hosts the monthly variety show Muffins in the Window in the West Village, and is a member of the theatre collective The Artful Conspirators (www.artfulconspirators.org). She has appeared in various TV commercials (including most recently an ad for Yellowbook, with fellow UCB performer Mike Still) and internet videos (including most recently “Living with First Person Shooter Disease” from The LandLineTV), and appeared on “Delocated” (Adult Swim/ Cartoon Network).
Molly lives in Brooklyn and longs for a rad dog.

Our hilarious indie darling this week is Phil Jackson

Phillip Jackson is an improviser, actor, and writer based in Manhattan.
He has been studying at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre since August of 2009 and has had the pleasure of learning under Greg Tuculescu, Brandon Gardner, Silvija Ozols, Will Hines, Chelsea Clarke, Jordan Klepper, Kevin Hines, Neil Casey, Dyna Moe, Anthony Atamanuik, Chris Gethard, and a handful of other wonderful instructors.
He is extremely proud to be a member of the Harold Team Dance Break.
Phillip’s UCB stage credits include The Movie, Convergence, The Evente, Chris Gethard’s ( ), and 12 Angry Improvisers. And he can be seen performing all around NYC with the wonderful players of Jump On Three,Dreamboat, and Kelly Cash. He is also a founding member of Cardigan [cardigancomedy.com], a comedic lifestyle groupe.
Phillip graduated from the University of Virginia in 2006 and soon after studied acting at Michael Howard studios before enrolling at UCB.
He is also a playwright, and his self-produced piece, The Dinner Plan, enjoyed a sold-out run at the 13th Street Repertory Theatre.
